How it works
- Basket: adds price Γ quantity for a running total and shows what is left of your budget. The list is saved only in this browser.
- Unit price: compares packs of different sizes (e.g. 500 g for β©4,980 vs 1 kg for β©8,900) per 100 g, 100 ml or per piece.
- Korean shelf labels show the same βλ¨μκ°κ²©β (unit price).
FAQ
How do I compare prices of different pack sizes?
Divide the price by the size and multiply by 100 to get the price per 100 g or ml; the lower one is better value.
Is my shopping list saved?
Only in your own browser β nothing is sent to a server.
Worked example
Unit price example: 500 g for β©4,980 is β©996 per 100 g; 1 kg for β©8,900 is β©890 per 100 g. The larger pack is about 10.6% cheaper per gram β worth it only if you will use it before it expires.
Counting by item: 30 eggs for β©9,900 cost β©330 each, while 15 for β©5,500 cost about β©367 each. Switch the unit to "ea" to compare products sold by count.
Common mistakes
- "1+1" and multipack deals are not always cheaper; compare the price per gram or millilitre.
- Only compare products in the same unit (g with g, ml with ml).
- Korean shelf labels show unit prices per 100 g, 10 g or per item, so check the base before comparing.
- Use the price you actually pay after coupons.
