How it works
Each job is counted from the start date to the end date, both included, in years, months and days.
When adding several jobs, 30 days roll into a month and 12 months into a year.
Overlapping periods are counted once by default; switch to a simple sum if needed. Gaps between jobs are also shown for your CV.

FAQ
How do I calculate total years of experience?
Count each job from start to end date (inclusive) in years, months and days, then add them, rolling 30 days into a month.
Worked example
Example: job 1 from 2 March 2019 to 1 September 2022 and job 2 from 4 October 2022 to today (30 October 2026) add up to 7 years, 6 months and 27 days (2,768 days, about 7.6 years). Job 1 is 3 years 6 months, job 2 is 4 years and 27 days, and the gap between them is 32 days.
